Name Question

Hello,

Stupid question... looking at the console it shows the name as "swi-lem" for the manager. I gave it a different hostname and I expected that to change. Is there a way to change it or is it static? It's not a huge deal, just one of those cosmetic things.

Click the gear icon to the left of your manager and choose Configure from the menu that drops down. Type in the new hostname of your manager. When you click the Save button it should update the manager name.

I have it set to our hostname. When I go to monitor it shows "swi-lem" still.

I see what you're saying now.

To change that behavior, SSH into your manager appliance and go into the Appliance menu. There is a hostname command in there. I believe that will get you your desired result.
