IBM z/OS Monitoring

Has anyone done any monitoring on a IBM z/OS mainframe?

Is there anyway to do TN3270 emulation?

Based on the information available for IBM's z/OS SNMP MIB there does not appear to be much information available beyond basic interface statistics. You may want to consult with IBM support to ask if there is additional information available from Z/OS via SNMP. SAM's Linux/Unix script monitors do not support TN3270 terminal emulation, though you can change the terminal emulation type in Z/OS to VT100.
