It seems over the years that there are some ideas that get a lot of traction via votes and comments do not make "What We're Working On" while others that seem to only have a few votes or comments do make it. I think one of the most obvious cases is the Granular Management rights that has garnered a lot of community support but is still open for voting.
In all seriousness, what is the process for an idea to get attention and traction from the development team besides community support. I would be interested in the Cliff's Notes version of that process.
