Win2k3 Interface Unknown
FormerMember
Had an issue this morning where a 2k3 server's CPU and NIC never reported correctly. The CPU was just "unknown/unsupported value" and the NIC was in an Unknown State. All memory and volumes reported correctly. I unmanaged the device, removed the interface from the node resource list, yet it stayed in the web interface. I then removed it from the database - it also stayed.

I then changed the SNMP from v1 to v2, managed it and the node went
into an Unknown State. Unmanaged again, changed it back to SNMP v2, added the interface from the node resources, then managed it again. The node came up and the interface cleared... kind of - now there are two interfaces showing with the same SNMP ifIndex. One is the correct one (registering as ethernet) the other is just blank. Any ideas how I can clear this?

Not that I wanted to do this but removing the node and putting it back in Orion worked; else the dual interface stayed there. I didn't want to have to lose the 2 months of uptime data.
