vMAN is configured with the administrator privileges of vCenter, but still we are unable to get the details of vmware datastores in VMAN. ?
Kindly find the below screenshot for your reference.
Hi,
please verify that all the permissions are set according to VMAN Administrator guide, VMware account permissions article. If so, I would suggest that you contact Solarwinds support and send them your logs.
Regards,
Milan
Are you receiving other data in VMAN, just missing datastore information?
I am able to receive all the datas, Except the Datastore information.
Kindly help me in fixing this.

Hi!
When you have all other data except Datastores (you can find VMs, Hosts, Clusters by search; but can't find any Datastore), then the issue is most probably that the configuration data collection job is timing out. Please check whether the duration of configuration collection jobs are around 1 hour (by default there is 1 hour timeout for the configuration collections, after which the job times out) - the datastores are collected differently than other entities.
It is possible to increase the configuration collection timeout.
You should check your vCenter - especially the database size on the vCenter, and the DB maintenance/rollup/cleanup jobs on the vCenter.
Hi Tomas,
Thanks for the update.
I am unable to find the configuration collection timeout value.
Could you please help me where to find the value and how to increase it ?
