Open Telnet and SSH session via NPM 10.1 web console

Hello all - I am new to the SolarWinds world and have a question about the setup. I am having issues using the "Open" buttons at the top of the screen. The RDP button works perfectly but the SSH and Telnet buttons either try to open a new web page or just don't do anything. Could someone tell me how to get this working? I have Putty installed but it still isn't recognize the application to use.

Have you tried the procedure provided in the article "Registering an Application to a URL Protocol"--as linked from the section "Accessing Nodes Using HTTP, SSH, and Telnet" in the SolarWinds Orion NPM Administrator Guide? If it does not work, please post your experience here, so we can help you or update our documentation accordingly.

Well that's a funny story. But in short, I looked at the directions and could not figure out what I was supposed to be doing. PLus is that a fix I have to do on all machines that would try and use SSH to connect? It would seem there would be a solution that I could do on the server to accomplish this. Because there is no telling where someone might try and get to a device to troubleshoot it.

I will try to figure it out and do it on the server to see if that solves the issue.

The only link that works in your post above is the one from Microsoft. Do you have any documentation from SolarWinds for this?
