New Polling Method Appears When Editing a Node

I recently updated to NPM 12.4. I went to edit a Node which was a Hyper-V host and noticed a new polling method listed:

is an agent?
	VMware vCenter or Hyper-V devices: Use to monitor VMware vCenters or standalone ESX or Hyper-V hosts.

I tried to select it but it is grayed out so it can't be chosen. My question is two fold. When will this be available as an option? and What would be the better method to poll WMI or this new Htper-V chopice.
