I have had problems with this tool for awhile on win 7. I moved to win 10 on a new build and it worked okay, but now it seems to shutdown often with the standard windows message that it stops working. I'm wondering if this is a known issue or not.
NPM is designed to run on Windows Server grade OS, 2008 R2 or newer. You can install it on Windows 7, 8, 10 for evaluation purposes but it's know to not run as smooth.
