So it seems NTA does not play nice with version 5.1 ESXi dvSwitches.
- Since these switches don't support SNMP, it cannot auto discover the ports therein meaning you have to manually add each one. very nice when you have thousands!
- NTA offers no support for flows with IPv6 Data
- NTA only supports TCP and UDP flows. other transport layer protocols will not be captured (e.g. ICMP)
Would be nice to see 1 and 3 addressed in the near future. Particularly 1 as with the proliferation of virtualisation having adding thousands of virtual ports manually is not a runner.
