ipMonitor: monitor for SAN

Good Afternoon,

Is it possible to monitor a P4530 SAN with ipMonitor? I wasn't able to add it as a device.

joshea - In this case most devices should be able to be added as long as we are able to ping that device. From there, it is really about how exposes data. In this case we would probably leverage SNMP to pull back information from the SAN. Simply specifying the OID in this case we could pull back the desired data.

If the SAN does not support SNMP, it may leverage something such as SMIS providers which would fall more in line with our Storage Resource Monitor - Storage Monitoring Software | SolarWinds
