Active Directory 2003-2008 Services and Counters Permission Level

What level of permission do you assign the user account that runs this monitor?

The guide says "Windows Administrator on the domain controller".

Do they mean BUILTIN\Administrators, Domain Admins, Server Operators? What is the minimum permission level required?

I've sent this to support, but just get vague responses back. Does anyone have any specifics?

Windows Administrators means BUILTIN\Administrators.

If you dont want to use account with admin privileges, then you can try to follow this KB, which describes how to create non-admin account for monitoring -
