IP Report and Alert

Question

I've just added an alert to tell me when a new IP address is added to certain networks.  I've tried to write a report, as the alert will tell me when the address is added, but not what address it is.  I was hoping to come up with a daily or weekly report to show me new addresses, but I don't think IPAM has a field for "time of discovery".  Has anyone else created an alert or report to do this?

a [MANUAL] interim workaround might be to create a custom field and set existing IPs to 1, then as new ones are added, the default value would be null or 0.  report on that, then go in and update that column to 1 after the report...
