Since installing the VOIP & Network Quality Manager with the base 250 phone license, we've seen our Events log spammed every minute by messages claiming that we don't have enough VOIP licenses. We never will actually, because we mainly bought the product for the IP SLA elements. We do have 3 phones, which are remote to our organisation which we'd like to have jitter stats for, but it appears that the VOIP module wants to monitor every phone, which given our environment is of no interest to us (we have around 1200 phones in total).
Does anyone know how to stop the VOIP polling engine from spamming our Event log with this "please buy more licenses" noise? Short of buying more licenses of course? Can we just remove our Call Managers from the polling engine and be done? I suspect so, but then we'd never get the jitter stats for those three remote phones.
Ideally, I'd like to tell the polling engine to ignore all but the three phones we're actually interested in. Is this possible?
Thanks.
