We expect to add SNMPv3 support in 1H09, but as always, priorities and timeframes can change based on demand from our customer base. If there are others with SNMP v3 support requirements, please chime in!

Yes, we absolutely have to have SNMPv3 support in my organization. We're keeping WhatsUp Gold around just because it supports SNMPv3.

What about SNMPv2 support for traps? When would this be implemented? In a few months it will be a year since I keep asking this question.

It is still on my list of items we need to knock out. I would assume monitoring via v3 is a higher priority vs. v3 traps?

Hi everyone – I’m the new PM for IpMonitor. We definitely plan to support SNMP v3. It’s a nontrivial enhancement– we do have it on the roadmap and plan to have it in the future.
