Hello, first of all I am new to these forums and Syslog Server as well. I am having a few issues and wondered if anyone had some suggestions. I just started a new position and was asked to configure our Syslog server. First it says there is an update to v 9.3 but when I download it, it says it is download 9.3 but when opened it is 9.2 and after install says I still need the update. Secondly, i need to set every Cisco device to send its logs to Kiwi Syslog Server. Now setting the Cisco devices to sends it logs is not the problem, I am unsure of how to set up the rules to make Syslog report and email warnings when a Router, Switch or even a port goes down.
