Automate Switch Port Mapper?

Any way to automate having switch port mapper run and dump to a file? I can do it all manually, but hope to automate the process so that we can further automate some things that depend on the results of the switch port mapper file generated.

If there is no easy way to do this, does anyone have experience using anything else to achieve similiar results?

I simply need to be able to schedule something that will dump to a csv file or similiar file type containing the switch port to mac-address mapping. The results of the basic IOS command "sh mac-address-table" is actually useable but I don't seem to be proficient in automating the dump of these results to a particular file type.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I am very interested also on how to create an automated task, which will allow switch port mapper the ability to dump a file once a week...
