WMI invalid name space error

I'm having some trouble with invalid wmi namespace and running the health check failed for a machine. We found the server service stopped so we started that up and now we just receive a health check failure. What steps do you recommend for troubleshooting and repairing WMI issues?

I've only had broken WMI problems a handful of times, usually when an in house dev has mucked with the OS. But I stumbled across this when we first bought Orion and I dropped it into my evernote after it worked. Hope it helps, its helped me.

What's the full error you are receiving?

The error was healthcheck failed so we ran the wbemtest.exe and it came back with invalid namespace for \root\cvim2. We recompiled the .MOF files and ran out of time to test if that worked. This was only done for the root\CIMV2 connector though.
