hello,
I've noticed recently that my graphs have stopped being generated.
I've confirmed that I am still receiving netflow data, but no graphs are being generated.
Has anyone seen this before ?
See attachment.
Thanks for your time
If you are running version 4 you might want to make sure you are upto the latest release 4.0.3 as this looks similar to the behavior we saw prior to the upgrade
We haven't renewed maintenance for NTA. (currently running 4.0.1)
If it's a critical bug, surely they'll give a hotfix ?
all i can say is i know the fix is in 4.0.3 as it resolved the issue for us
FYI restarting the storage service provides a temporary fix until it stops working again
I've got this same problem after upgrading from 4.0 to 4.0.3
Same here. Its pretty damn unstable. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Change from 1 hour to 1 day it begins to work.
I am using 4.0.3 and my netflow data has been hit and miss lately. I can see the traffic being sent by the collector to the NetFlow Storage Server, but is has not showed up in the graphs since around 5 PM yesterday. I am running NTA 4.0.3, NPM 11.0.1 with HotFix 1. I have tried to examine the FastBitServerService.log to see if there are obvious problems, but no such luck.
Have any of you guys opened tickets on these issues and come to a conclusion? I'd be very interested to hear where these went.
Are you still having probs with the upgrade post NTAv4.0.3 35thgt ? If so I'd raise a case.I was initially having the same issues as you, would restart the service once ppl complained and all was well again for {insert random period of time}
Now a couple of weeks on v4.0.3 and I haven't received a no graphing complaint since.
I got in touch with support and they helped me out. Seems some tables didn't upgrade correctly.
I noticed the errors in the logs kept pertaining to the same set of dates. They seemed too old. I stopped services and then manually deleted the directories in the errors. I started services again on the NTA data store and everything was working again. I believe that there was a disruption of service caused by some moves. Not anything wrong with the application.
