VNQM 4.4.0 MOS, Jitter and Latency shows Unsupported

I've used VNQM for a while, but only for IP SLA features.

We have recently transferred some of our facilities to the Cisco Call Manager suite and I am starting to monitor calls.

Cisco Call Manger version is 11.5.1.11900-26

Problems that I am having is MOS, Jitter and Latency all show unsupported.

Gateways are not able to be added. VNQM doesn't recognize them as being gateways.

Cisco 2811, Cisco 2911, Cisco 2921

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure that there is a consolidated list so probably need to dig into documentation.

the 79xx series certainly do support it and I believe that the 99xx series do.

What is supported (Not what isn't) appears to be detailed in the phone's admin guide under 'Monitoring Phone Systems' section.

One way to check you environement is to go to the call statistics page on the phone whilst in a call and see if the MOS and jitter is showing.

The call statistics are normally accessed under the admin settings menu and then under status (I think!)

Also do not forget that the CDR and CMR records are just CSV files so you could open them in excel to see if the MOS/Jitter information is being passed into Solarwinds or not.

this way you know if the issue is with CallManager/handsets or with Solarwinds.

I assume that you are referring to MOS, Jitter and latency from the CDR/CMR records?

Unfortunately not all handsets collect this information and as such it is not reported within the CMR files.

If the handsets do not support the collection of those stats then unfortunately Solarwinds cannot display it.

Step one check that the Handset model you have support it.
