New to VMAN, host monitoring question?

I have installed VMAN 8.2 and connected my vCenter. I can now see all my hosts/VM's. Most of my VM's are already being polled by Agent/SNMP. My question is my hosts. When I click one that says it has an issue it tells me it is not monitored by Orion. I thought that was VMAN's job? So should all my hosts be setup SNMP in NPM also?

could you please copy or make screenshot of this message? This host is monitored by agent? If yes, there si probably message that VMAN Orion polling is not supported on agent nodes.

Make sure that your vCenter is added as ICMP/SNMP node with correct vmware credentials assigned (You can edit vCenter node and on the bottom of the page is checkbox Poll for VMware - be sure that credentials are correct and test is passing). Then make sure that you vCenter is polled by VMAN Orion polling method (Settings > Virtualization Settings > VMware Settings). This should be enough and virtualization data for you Hosts and VMs should be polled via vCenter, so you can ignore notification message.

Thanks, I actually ended up removing my vCenter server and using the wizard to add it back.
