account views problem

Is there a way you can limit an account view by maps? From all the documentation, I'm guessing no. It seems, however, that there should be a way to get around that. I was thinking about using Custom property editor with Account limitations, but I don't understand how to get the Account Limitation Builder to recognize new user defined custom properties. The maps I want to limit are actually just street maps with no nodes (just so the techs know where to go). They are comprised of only a label with a hyperlink (which references back to another Solarwinds map) in it.
Any ideas about how I can pull this one off or a different way to accomplish the same thing?
