I currently have a Solarwinds install on a Windows Server 2012 R2 server. Two volumes, C: and
- OS on C: and Solarwinds on
Have run into an odd situation where on volume D, 300GB total space, now has only 135GB of free space. However, when I view all objects on the volume, including hidden and system protected as well as the pagefile.sys and add up the used space I only come to around 15GB. So I can't account for what is using the remaining 135GB+ of used disk space.
So my question is does anything in Solarwinds lock disk space for use in order to have it as a resource if/when needed? I am not seeing evidence of that type of behavior but had to ask to make sure. And yes I realize this is what the pagefile is for but I have seen odd things in the past with applications so just wanted a definitive yes or no to rule it out.
Thanks
