Showing Unapproved Updates that are Needed By computers Report

Hi Guys,

I have been trying to create a report that shows all updates not approved, and that are needed by my machines, but I cannot get the software to return anything.

Does anyone use this report at all? I have tried everything I can think of, but cant seem to get anything decent from the system. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This report data is readily available from the stock Computer Update Status report by filtering on Approval="Not Approved" and Installation State in ("Not Installed", "Downloaded").

But if you're getting NO rows in the report, then most likely you have not yet configured, scheduled, and/or executed a WSUS Inventory task to populate the WSUS reporting data in the Patch Manager database.
