Weekly Bandwidth report with Min,Max,Average and Peak Utilization of Interfaces

Hi team,

I was preparing a custom report for generating Weekly Bandwidth report with Min,Max,Average and Peak Utilization of Interfaces. I have couple of issues here to fix. Can someone who is expert can guide me here ?

1. I am not able to pull the peak utilization report .

2. When i select Max function in "Recv Percentage utilization" its shows an error as "Query With aggregation function contains non-aggregated calculated values"

3. I am not able to pull the report as a summary of week instead the report shows summary by day wise!!!!!

Please someone help me as its a bit urgent req .. !!!!!!!

Can you please post an image of what's in your Select Fields tab of the Report Designer?

It sounds like for all the other Min, Max and Average you haven't set a function. See image below. If I remove the MAX function from the Recv Percent Utilization then I get the same error as you do.

Could you post the screenshots of how you have the report setup, or find the report in the \Reports folder inside the \Orion directory and attach it?

I guess I answered question 1 and 2 so for question 3, what do you have in your Summarization tab? Here you can summarize by week.

If question 1 is not answered, then please post up the information I asked for before. Without this information, it will hard to help you.

Please find the screenshots of the report writer entire screens. My objective is to get the Weekly summary of an interface which is serving the internet traffic. This data is used for capacity planning. So i would like to get the below points.

1. MAX usage percentage on that interface(RX+TX)

2. Avg Usage percentage on that interface(RX+TX)

3. Min usage percentage on that interface(RX+TX)

4. All the 7 days usage has to display as one single line item in the report.

Can I ask a question here please, is it possible for me to get bandwidth on a node that Netflow is not enabled on? What do I need to get the bandwidth on a node

Yes you can. This can be done via SNMP data collection. All you need to do is have the device configured with SNMPv2c and monitor it and its interfaces in NPM. By default, NPM will report bandwidth utilization on the ports.
