What We're Working on for Orion IP SLA Manager...

Here is what we've got cooking for Orion IP SLA Manager:

Path Echo (new operation) - gives you hop-by-hop SLA data for an Echo operation
Path Jitter (new operation) - gives you hop-by-hop SLA data for a Jitter operation
Improvements on monitoring IP SLA operations - you'll be able to discover existing, manually created operations on a device

hey point 3 is the item i asked for when you took me through the pre-release IPSLA module before it was ever released as IPSLA... wahooo.. i love it when stuff gets into the product LOL

All 3 of these, are very...very attractive to us. We do not use RW community strings at all, and all of our operations are manual...so #3 is very nice for us.

I can't commit to a date or an ETA (see Denny's blog post here about why we can't talk about dates), but I can tell you we're actively working on these operations.

One thing I'd like to see is the ability to make a change to something that doesn't affect the sla and not have it re-apply the sla. For instance changing the response warning and critical times and not have it re-apply the sla.

Will you guys be doing the cisco IPSLA latency measures for layer 2 networks. Primarily for metro ethernet? The tool was purchased primarly for this feature and it does not seem to be supported.

This is supported by Cisco and it works in a free tool we use called cacti.

Metro-E SLA and discover existing SLA operations are very important for my company as a metro ethernet service provider.

How about more tabs for the operations, not just web, voip and top 10 As there are check boxes filtering what to display additional tabs shouldn't be tha much more to code
