We have IPAM running on our network, but we need to be able to disable SNMP on specific Subnets.
The only thing I have been able to find is that by removing all the SNMP credentials, IPAM will stop SNMP quering all subnets.
Go to the 'Manage Subnets and IP Addresses' tab, select a subnet then hit 'Properties' which will open the Edit Subnet Properties window. Check 'Disable Automatic Scanning.'

I still want to ping the subnet, just not do a SNMP query.
Not possible today at the subnet level. You can do this globally, but checking that setting on the subnet will disable all scanning for that subnet (both ICMP and SNMP).
Can you submit a feature request? We have customers that are upset because of the SNMP scanning IPAM is trying to perform.
Any chance this has been added in the last 10 years? I too would like to do ICMP-only scanning on certain subnets as some devices don't "like" getting SNMP-scanned...
