Workspace Studio Leap Year Application Launch Issue

There is a reason leap year is only once every four years

Looks like there is a bug which does not allow Workspace studio to launch.

Workaround is one of two things

For today, if there is a corresponding classic tool, use that instead
Change your system time back to 2/28, launch Workspace Studio and then reset system time back to 2/29

We have since with held food and water from the toolset team for this issue

Sorry about this, we will fix in the code. If this workaround doesn't work for you, PM me via thwack and we will see if there is another workaround.

Thanks for the quick turnaround. After I posted my message, I found another post that mentioned option 2. Sure enough, that worked.

I got the same problem with Workspace Studio yesterday. I've reinstalled Engineers Toolset few times and even installed NPM 10.2.2 earlier than was planned. Nothing helped! I got always error message: " SolarWinds Workspace Studio has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program."

I found in Application Event Log couple messages of type :
"Product: SolarWinds Toolset v10.7. The application tried to modify a protected Windows registry key \Software\Classes\Interface\{0000050E-0000-0010-8000-00AA006D2EA4}\TypeLib."

Today Workspace Studio works ok but believe me I'd never expect anythink like that. I mean leap year issue ))
