Can i enable application URL login monitoring ?

Question

Hello,

I have few web urls and user want to enable login monitoring on those. I am not sure if that is possible in Solarwinds or not. Can someone assist or guide me to right direction ?

For Example: I have a internal web url  http:\xyz.com/workspace/index.jsp . I need to set login monitoring on this url in solarwinds, login to this url is working or not if not working then send email notification to user.

Let me know if need other details.

Thanks for this info but my requirement is to setup a user id in solarwinds that can login to url and check if its reachable and login is working fine or not. The above mentioned steps are to setup audit monitoring on url i guess.

Hi

the way to monitor this URL will depend on the SolarWinds modules you have. If you don't have WPM or SAM it is going to be tricky because you will only be able to ping that URL, and the most of the times that is not enough.

If you have SolarWinds Server and Application Monitor you can edit the existing application template 'HTTP Form login' and complete the details:

If you have SolarWinds Web Performance Monitor, then just create a new recording with all the steps to authenticate on that URL, and remember to apply that recording to a location in order to start monitoring that transaction.
