This of course begs the question as to why you would want more than one Kiwi Syslog Server. Some customers have network devices that are only reachable from a particular network segment which requires Syslog to be collected locally per location. Other larger customers will set up multiple Kiwi Syslog Servers for load balancing. See the following KB articles for more information on performance and load balancing:

Does a Kiwi Syslog Server Site License permit a customer to install 25 instances in any location in their network. For exmple, if the customer has 2 Data Centers in different cities, can we install a few Kiwi Syslog servers in DC1 and a few in DC2 - the sum total not exceeding 25 licenses?

The same question, except for the max instances, is there any other difference between the single instance and the max 25 instances ?
