JRE 6u45 won't complete in Patch Manager

I am experiencing a problem with JRE 6u45 when applying it to a workstation with the Patch Manager package. Active Tasks shows that it is 'Running' and doesn't end. What's more unusual is that the Progress tab originally showed Install under the Operation column, as well as Download. Now it just shows Download with a percentage of 0. The target machine shows that it has installed, though.

Does the installation ever eventually return an error code of any kind in either the Patch Manager console, or the windowsupdate.log on the client machine?

Nothing in Patch Manager. Windows update log shows the error code 800B0109. The update would fail every time when I tried to update locally on the machine. It finally installed using Patch Manager, but the running status of ‘Download’ always showed 0%. Locally, the machine shows it as installed now, but patch manager still shows ‘failed’. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but when I send in this information to our auditors, we will get marked down if these show as ‘errors’ and/or ‘failed’

Windows update log shows the error code 800B0109.

Fundamentally your failures are due to a misconfiguration on the client, or a missing or incorrect WSUS Publishing Certificate on the client.

Please verify that the Allow signed updates from an intranet Microsoft update service location is ENABLED, and that the WSUS Publishing Certificate is present in both the Root Certificate Authorities store as well as the Trusted Publishers store.
