I think I asked about this quite some time ago, in a different forum, but the question has been rasied by my managmenet again -
With ipMonitor, and a competitors product, I was able to create an alert that showed something along the lines of "Node has been down XXX minutes" when a reset was triggered. Is there ANY way at all to get this informaiton from Orion v10 advanced alerts?
As it is now, we have to look at the first "down" alert, and the "reset" alert, and determine the difference manually - which is not a effecient way to do this. Seems to me that if it can be done in ipMonitor, with its limited alerting, Orion should be able to do this w/no problem.
Please advise! Thanks!
EDIT - seems it wasnt so long ago after all - - but still, I think this should be a selectable variable, and not require me to do any custom queries -
Now, just got to figure out how to use this - im not a SQL guy
If it
