Virtualization Manager integration with SAM

Question

I have gone thru the steps to integrate Virtualization Manager with SAM and I have gotten the "Virtualization manager integration is currently enabled" message.

But when I go into SAM and try to view a item detail I get

Which if you launch the Virtualization Manager console they are already configured and working.

What am I missing?

We have this very same issue and really need that VMAN Datasource Sync Wizard you've mentioned.

We manually try to match all of our applications to their virtualized resources. So, maybe this will help automate some of this work.

FYI - In the upcoming Beta for VMAN, we are working on a Datasource Synchronization Wizard to help get this setup correctly. There are several different things that can go wrong when trying to get matching environments polled between the two products (additional pollers, different credentials, ESX vs. vCenter) and it's caused enough problems for customers that we thought it worth improving.

Keep a lookout for a forthcoming Product Blog post announcing the VMAN 6.1 Beta. We'd love the feedback from folks that have experienced this exact problem with the currently shipping product.
