Hey Everyone,
So, I have Orion NPM running in my environment and am currently monitoring all the switches in it.
I was wondering if there is any way that Orion would be able to pick up what host/server/asset is attached to specific ports on a switch.
Kind of similar to how Lansweeper does it? I attached a picture of Lansweeper so you guys can see what I'm talking about.
What I'm trying to accomplish is to set an alert every time an interface goes up. But, within that email alert, it would let me know what host/port/switch is going up.
Right now, I can indicate port and switch, but not host.
