NCM ver 7.0 JOB ENGINE 2 problematic

We have ncm v7 and during the daily config backup the service is eating lot of resources which is resulting in timeout for the devices if this service is stopped from Orian Service manager utility then config backup is working perfectly like 1500 devices are backing up in 35 minutes approx but with this service running 75 % of devices are failing in daily config backp job case is opened with the tech ppl is there any one who is experiencing the same?
Also how to collect the inventory of all the devices for Cisco its working but we have nortel avaya etc so i cannot have the updated inventory from solarwinds as its not collecting the S/N cards etc information from nortel.

I found that this service Job engine 2 is required for discovering and adding the devices if its not enabled the devices will be discovered but it will not add up in orian database
