Report Preview works yet report displays "no activity to report"

I have a report I've created that displays properly in preview mode however upon clicking submit it never populates. The query that is running is doing all of the time calculations for me so my thought is that the time period parameter you have to specify could be causing the issue. It's using a custom data source that has been created to show only a certain list of alerts. I'm not sure what other bits of information I can provide but will to if anyone has any ideas...

Its just a guess , but then I am suspecting you query might be pulling huge number of records (note: in preview mode it would only list about 15 records and hence it works good) , check if the report works fine for a single node by applying a condition in your query or running this for selected nodes. Try reducing the time period as well. Hope it helps

If what I am suspecting is the root cause of the issue, then you will have to break the report into multiple reports based on some filtering conditions. This would reduce the weight on your query and the report would work as expected.

Applying a condition that isolates it to just one node previews fine(5 records) but displays the same thing as before.
