Custom Time period in IP SLA chart will only show todays chart - broken or bug?

Hi Guys,

I am running all the latest versions of NPM and IP SLA and have noticed that when I try to set a custom time and date for a chart it keeps displaying only todays data.  If I change the sample interval it changes the graph but if I change the dates or times nothing changes.

I am trying an avarage response time chart from a ICMP echo probe.

Has anyone seen this issue indicating a bug or is this an issue with my install.

Thanks for replying.  I have opened case 183379 shortly after posting here as I can replicte the issue on the solarwinds website demo Orion install so I don’t think this issue is isolated to our install.

Open Orion demo website
Go to IP SLA
Select any of the ICMP Echo operations (IcmpEcho – Core -> Bastogne)
Click on the RTT gauge
Change Adjust Time Period for chart to custom,
                                                Beginning :  23/08/2010
                                                Ending:    24/08/2010
Click refresh 
No error messages and the graph shows data from the 25th  to now, not the 23rd -24th as entered.
 
Then 
Change Adjust Time Period for chart to custom,
                                                Beginning :  08/11/2010
                                                Ending:    08/12/2010
Click refresh 
No errors. The graph does not show any data (prob because of retention settings) but the dates run from 11th-12th. i.e  1 days data not 1 months as the format is meant to be day/month/year.
 
Then 
Change Adjust Time Period for chart to custom,
                                                Beginning :  07/11/2010
                                                Ending:    08/11/2010
Click refresh 
No errors. The graph does not show any data (prob because of retention settings) but the dates run for a month. It should only be a day if it was day/month/year as the examples suggest.
 
Then 
Change Adjust Time Period for chart to custom,
                                                Beginning :  08/11/2010
                                                Ending:    08/13/2010
Click refresh 
You get an error message on the Ending date saying it is not a valid date. The graph reverts to showing you todays data again.
 
 
In summary if I use month/day/year I can get charts of the history but only for the first 12 days of each month.
