Syslog server 9.2 wont receive messages

Hello,

I jsut installed the 9.2 version on a new Server 2008 box. This also is running a new install of NPM. I have logging configured on my switches, but no messages are populating in the syslog server. Any suggestion? I have UDP listening enabled and the service is running. Could the NPM syslog possibly be blocking it?

If you have NPM on the same server and the NPM syslog service is running then yes cause it would end up using that port.

You would need to disable the NPM syslog service to enable the Kiwi to capture the logging.
