Help on other services

- Need to enroll other nodes in the APM since only one node can only be detected.

- Do APM have Citrix Services, SMS Services, ISA Services and Active Directory Services? Since it is not included in the monitor templates in the APM. Also how are we going to include other Services in the APM if there is none?

The application monitors included as default in APM I assume to be those that are

A) Easy to create ie tcp small service eg finger etc(although i dont know who uses that)

Have been deemed as higher priority by developers at SW.

This does not mean that you cannot add your own application templates if you understand how the application works and are capable of scripting in one of the supported languages, or you will need to wait for one of the SW users to add one through the content sharing zone. Of the ones you mentioned you may be able to retrieve process data simply using WMI.

With regards to your first query are you saying that when you try and add a monitor to a node that you have added in NPM that this node is not shown within APM?

I'm not sure what you mean about only one node.

Which version of APM are you running? APM 2.5 includes an Active Directory template. There is a Citrix template on Thwack. You can build an SMS template by browsing to the target server with the WMI counter browser.
