Hi guys...
I've noticed that my NDepth "Schedule" button is greyed out... I've tried fiddling with all sorts of query changes but can't get it to be clickable.
What are the conditions that enable it to be used???
Thanks!
As long as it is not running an nDepth query, the schedule option should be available. Try saving the search, and click on the saved search and use the Gear icon
I am certain that nobody is running an ndepth query at the moment and it is still greyed out from both the saved searches gear icon and the main ndepth gear icon.
There was a standard ndepth query run 2 days ago that timed out. I know that it used to not be greyed out before then. Maybe because the query failed, it does not know how to return to normal?
Any ideas about how to fix this (besides restarting the system--I don't have that permission )
Did you save the search first? That is a key step
yes lol... the report is saved ... The basic saved reports didn't work either...
There is an update though. I was previously trying to schedule using the LEM desktop console application (it generally performs better than the webpage memory-wise for me) and that would produce the greyed schedule button.
When I switched to the web-interface through flash, I could schedule reports which were saved.
I can schedule any report except for a report with a custom-range. I was hoping to be able to schedule a fairly-long running report using the custom range feature ... Can you confirm that schedule isn't supposed to work with custom range?
I just got it to work.... Basically, my filter had been set to a custom range. The best way to do it is to follow the following steps:
1- create a filter
2- Move it to nDEPTH
3- Set the range to a value that is not "Custom - or date range" perhaps say "Last Week"
4- Perform a "save as"
5- Now you will be able to give the saved search a name and "click on the Schedule"
6- set the schedule values
7- set the email option to be notified when the schedule runs
8- now save the search
wait for the email to trigger.
I will wait for the search to work for me.
