---- More ---- field appears in my Configs??

Question

Hello All, firstly please may I introduce myself as Lee! I'm a newbe to Cirrus so please go easy on me? lol

Anyway......already I'm having problems.

I've compared 2 configs and the results are odd?

In yellow (changes?) most lines are highlighted, however, their are NO changes, other than what appears to be blank chars!

IN Red & Green (added & removed) I have things like ---More--- appearing and spacing occuring thus throwing errors.

Please can someone advise me as to why this is happening?

Thanks we tried that and used tftp and NO errors showed?

btw, most of this is all too new to me :-(

If you are seeing "---More---" within your configurations, then most likely the commands referenced within the device template for the Reset command are either not correct or not complete.  For assistance with troubleshooting device templates, I recommend creating a ticket at https://forms.netsuite.com/app/site/crm/externalcasepage.nl?compid=638609&formid=12&h=3d0552f20b2e9bd6580b.

If the device does not have a command that will remove "---More---" from displaying within the configs, then jedi755's recommendation is definitely the way to go.  You would simply need to add the ability to ignore "---More---" by updating the Edit Comparison Criteria from within Config Change Reports.

you may want to also try putting in items like this into your config comparison criteria, so they dont trigger a change detection.
