ipMonitor Database

I'm looking at purchasing ipMonitor and would like to know what database ipMonitor uses and is it accessable outside ipMonitor? I know it's an internal database, but any more details would be appreciated.

Uses a proprietary binary DB- to make it small and fast. You cannot query it or access it.

That's correct. ipMonitor is intended to be a quick and simple, all-inclusive but entry-level network monitoring solution. If you are looking for something more extensible/scalable, then you'll need to consider Orion.

As nice as Orion is, the cost keeps it out of reach. But for a company of less than 700 client PCs, ipMonitor fits, right?
