Customising / Customizing a user view which I've previously raised with support I've now started looking into the "Alert Limitation Category" as defined in the Alert Properties.
So we're opening visibility to other users, but don't want them seeing everything (they are already part of a defined NPM custom property (CP)).
That CP as well as certain VCs and Storage Arrays have also been assigned to that user view, which works fine.
What doesn't however is Alerts / Events and Traps.
It is not possible to filter from that user view in the WebUI to only show Alerts/Events/Traps against the CPs set.
It just shows all, which I can't have seen - so currently they have to be hidden.
So I already have 45 locked down/approved alerts.
Am I going to have to create another 45 but include that CP as a condition for the alert to trigger, making it only visible on their view.
Meanwhile the original alert would also trigger and do what it usually does?? (appear in the greater NOC users view and also send an SNMP trap to our Manager of Managers)
