We are currently unable to report on the number of available tapes in Legato Networker.
We need to be able to either report on the number of scratch tapes in each Library or the number of recyclable media in each volume pool on a daily basis.
Backup profiler is currently only able to report on the number of scratch media only if the tapes have no data on them. The nature of backup software is that when media retentions expire the data does not clear of the tape so in this case the actual number of scratch tapes are not accuratly being reported on.
