Switch port mapper problem

I frequently run switch port mapper on our 2 access switches both are cisco L3 6513. Both have been working fine but a few months ago one of the switches only get as far as " discovering MAC addresses of connected devices.......22" and stays there. Ther icon in the corner keeps ticking over. I have tried with another working version of solar winds engineer, and get the same problem. I have reloaded the switch, and checked the configs with the working one and can see no differences. Do you have any ideas?

Have you tried to issue a reload, however considering that you may be using this as a core backbone switch try restarting the snmp-server agent
