Upgrade Orion from 7.8 to 8

After the installation of Version 8 of Orion it's impossible to start the tool wizar configuration. I have tried to clean the system and to reinstall the older version but with the same result.

yes after the failure of the installation i have tried to clean the register. But it seemed to be fine. So i have tryed to reinstall the SQLSERVER SP4 and reinstall the Version 8 version.
Now i have the following error during the installation:
Error in GLJ3.tmp.exe.
I am trying to make a sure backup of MSSQL Server, i fear to loose all data.
Have you got any advise forn this problem???
