General Loading Issue

Question

I've noticed that it will take from clicking on the Cirrus icon to being able to use Cirrus to take around 2mins Cirrus opens quickly but it seems to take the time to pull back the devices from the SQL database, it doesn't matter what time of day I open Cirrus it still takes 2 mins to open.

The database is located on a different site on the same box as Orion, I'm monitoring 125 devices.

Is this an issue because the database is on a different or just Cirrus slow at getting the data down?

This doesn't help you directly but, I'm monitoring around 400 devices and I have Orion on the same box and it's monitoring about 500 devices and 1200 elements and I have no loading problems. I do have SQL (2000) locally installed and the server has dual 3.4Ghz and 4GB RAM. My memory usage is right around 60%, but both CIRRUS (just upgraded to v3) and ORION run like a champ.

I've installed v3 of Cirrus and I was hoping that it may load quicker than v2 but if anything it takes longer to load. Has anyone else seen this?
