SQL Server - When I move a license to from server A to server B and now have a (Instance Not Licensed) by server A, does that mean that the monitoring has stopped on server A? As in no load, nothing running on it? Thanks
If you are on DPA 9.0, the answer is yes. The monitoring user still exists, but no active connections will be established and no queries against that instance if not licensed.
