LEM and Vipre 5.0

Hi All,

Do any of you have any experience in getting the Vipre 5.0 LEM tool working?

I have the tool installed on the SQL server that hosts the Vipre database and it refuses to start.

Any tips would be much appreciated.

Upgrading to the latest version 5.3.1 sorted the issue.

Hi, Martin.

What's the exact name of the connector you're trying to configure? You can find this in the Manage > Nodes > gear icon > Tools view.

it's under the Anti-Virus Category and called VIPRE 5.0

I'm working on testing this on my end, but in the meantime, please double check that...

The database name and instance are correct in the connector, and
The DB user credentials are correct in the connector and the user has read (possibly execute) permissions.

Generally, when a DB connector doesn't start, it's because it can't connect to the database.

Let me know if that works. Otherwise, I'll keep you posted on my testing outcome.

Were you able to verify the settings I mentioned previously? I wasn't able to reproduce any issues on my end, so if you still can't get the connector started, you should probably open a Support ticket.
