We ran the IP SLA Evaluation version for a while and decided to purchase. The Eval version is apparently only good for a few more days. Where I do enter the new license/activation key?
If you have a current license that is still good and being used, this screen does not appear. Instead it showed the current license with no option of entering a new one. Once I got back from the holidays, the eval license had revoked, I was presented with this screen, and was able to enter the new licensing info. It appears the eval license we were given may not have been a true "evaluation license" but a real license set to expire at the end of the trial?
Regardless, it is working now. Thanks for the help.
If you are running in evaluation mode, when you run the IP SLA Manager licensing application you should be presented with a screen similar to the one above.Click on the middle button labeled "Enter licensing information" and that should prompt you for your key.

Hi warbird -
You should find "License IP SLA Manager" under All Programs -> SolarWinds Orion -> IP SLA Manager in the Start Menu.
Hah! Thanks Chris. I was looking for it in the web interface. Figures. It's always the little things...
BTW, you guys may want to enter that in the docs somewhere, if it isn't already. Just for customers who try the Eval first, then upgrade their license later. I checked the docs and either missed it, or it isn't in there. I know it is easy and I should have checked the engine I'd installed on but still... it cost me a bit of time trying to find it.
Hi Warbird--
I'll pass this request onto the Information Development team and let them address it.
Thanks for your post!
