Thank you for your reply. Yes, the ability to define a codec for a group of devices or for specific devices is a feature we are evaluating for 2008. With VoIP Monitor v2, you will be able to leverage the manual call path configuration option to specify a codec at the call path level. If a majority of your network is configured to use one codec and you only have a few devices using another codec, then you could leverage VoIP Monitor's auto-configure feature for the majority of your network and then manually configure the call paths for the devices to use the other codec for the remaining devices. VoIP Monitor v2 is currently in the Release Candidate phase and will be releasing within the next month.
